Field Trip 2k18

This previous 27th of September, our school had an event. What's that event called? Well, it's our annual field trip! And here I am to tell you aaaaallll about my experience in that day!

So first off, I just want to say that I was really tired at the beginning of the trip. I mean, who wasn't? So to make things short, I slept at the back of the bus on the way to our stopover. When we got there, well, first instinct was to go to Starbucks because I wasn't really hungry, I just wanted something to drink. And there were a lot of people inside but what matters is I got my tea! After that, we went back to the bus and made our way to our first destination— Camp N. Nuvali.

Well, what do you expect in Camp N. Nuvali? Well... it's a camp. Obstacle courses galore that place. But before we tried the activities they offer, we did some warm ups. They also have a maze that leads to a garden that's separated by themes. Take the Bahay Kubo Garden, for example. It showcases the plants mentioned in the song Bahay Kubo. They also have a Salad Garden, that shows you vegetables and other plants that are mostly used in Salads. They have lots more of those!

After we checked that one out, that's when we proceeded doing physical activities like their basic obstacle course. We also have that activity where we had to balance on a cable. And we have that activity where we have to climb up a net, reach and ring the bell, and go down. It was so, so tiring. But hey, there's more.

We still have two more activities to partake in. They have a roller coaster zipline and we can also do a free fall. You can choose just one, or none at all. I did both. And it was fun! But I guess exhaustion got into me and when we came back to the bus, I got very dizzy and had a really bad headache going on there that I had to lay down 'til we got to our second and final destination— Enchanted Kingdom. Though, I felt better after resting in the bus.

Enchanted Kingdom was so crowded. There were people from different schools as well. The first thing we tried out was Disco Magic. It was very fun but the wait was so long. The next one was Rialto. Their effects were so cool! The next one was probably one of Enchanted Kingdom's highlights— Space Shuttle! That ride was so cool, I would've tried again if it weren't so late and the line wasn't too long. And lastly, I tried the Extreme Tower. The drop was a bit scary, but still, it was great. It was already so late that time, so it was already time for us to go back.

This year's field trip was very exhausting, but at the same time, it was great. I really hope that we get to have more field trips that are as great, or greater than this one. Happy trips!

You Are Beautiful

"You are beautiful." H ave you ever felt insecure about the way you look? Have you ever felt the need to change a part of your body? These are some of the reasons why people want to get cosmetic surgery. But what is cosmetic surgery? Cosmetic Surgery is a kind of surgery that involves transforming, reordering or refining a part of your body to improve one's appearance. It was believed that Cosmetic Surgery began to develop after World War 1 due to war injuries. Cosmetic surgery was mostly performed to fix a broken nose or patch up burned skins. But as time goes by, people started to think of this as a way to change their appearances. People started wanting to get cosmetic surgery. We have created a poll on Twitter, asking people their thoughts about cosmetic surgery. In less than 24 hours, we got the results. The majority vote was the affirmation side where 93% said they agree on cosmetic surgery.   Their answers all have the same point: is that they agree b...

"COSMETIC SURGERY?, it's a yes"

Admit it or not, in our world now—  we judge and being judged by our appearances . Physical attributes are what we get to see first, aren't we? It sounds hypocrite when people say that "Face does not matter, what matters is what the hearts says"— because people tend to judge through their naked eyes. We want to become more noticeable to the people around us.    Our desire to look better requires different procedures. It depends on which part you want to change or to enhance. Our culture as well, affects our standards of beauty.   In Asian countries, we start from transitioning our skin color from brown to white . By people’s wants and development, they started nose lifting. After anesthesia came to the world, plastic surgery became easier and introduced to the world.      Plastic surgery  is a surgical treatment that involves the restoration and reconstruction of the human body. It is  divided into t...

Fieldtrip2k18

Hi, welcome to my travelogue! My name is Marcus and I would like to share to you my experience this year Fieldtrip. So before I went to the school me and Delchien went to Mcdo to meet up with Clyde and Denzel and also to buy our breakfast. And while we are eating Delchien was actually nervous that we might left behind by the bus. But actually when we arrive at the school the teachers are still fixing the seating arrangement in the bus. And after a couple of minutes we are now going inside the bus. Before we go to our first destination, we went to a stop over. I just went to the restroom and I immediately go back to the bus. And while we are in the bus they actually had a game and I don't really participate because I'm playing Mobile Legends HAHAHAH. After an hour we arrived at Camp N-nuvali and before we do some physical activities we do some exercised to avoid injuries. And our first activity was the Maze and it was easy to find the exit. Then after you get out of...
