We search for ways to improve how we look by buying beauty products but sometimes, it just doesn’t work as we expect it to. Well, what if we tell you that there’s a solution about this problem you’re facing? Then let us introduce you to Cosmetic Surgery. What is Cosmetic Surgery, you ask? Cosmetics Surgery: Boon or Bane? by Meg Sky Beyonce Tan and Andrea Nicole B. Tributo

"True beauty is what's inside and not on the outside", but not everyone is satisfied with just that. People tend to judge others on appearances, making others insecure and unsure of themselves. Everyone wants to show the best side of themselves, but when people point out their imperfections, they cower so they may not be judged by others. We begin forming a mentality in our minds that it is a necessity to reach this standard. It is a mentality that does not only affect adults but engraved into the minds of children as well. Children often grow up seeing these beautiful men and women, and one day wish to achieve this beauty. As they age, they realize that maybe it is impossible for them, until they are introduced to the world of cosmetic surgery. A way to change all their imperfections. Cosmetics surgery is a type of plastic surgery that aims to enhance the appearance of oneself through surgical and medical procedures and improve one’s physical appeal.

You Are Beautiful

"You are beautiful." H ave you ever felt insecure about the way you look? Have you ever felt the need to change a part of your body? These are some of the reasons why people want to get cosmetic surgery. But what is cosmetic surgery? Cosmetic Surgery is a kind of surgery that involves transforming, reordering or refining a part of your body to improve one's appearance. It was believed that Cosmetic Surgery began to develop after World War 1 due to war injuries. Cosmetic surgery was mostly performed to fix a broken nose or patch up burned skins. But as time goes by, people started to think of this as a way to change their appearances. People started wanting to get cosmetic surgery. We have created a poll on Twitter, asking people their thoughts about cosmetic surgery. In less than 24 hours, we got the results. The majority vote was the affirmation side where 93% said they agree on cosmetic surgery.   Their answers all have the same point: is that they agree b

Cosmetic Surgery: Good or Bad? Blog by: Keesha Laurice Baan and Delchien John Delinea

W e’ve all probably heard this our whole lives; looks do not matter, true beauty comes from within. But how true is this concept? Why does it always seem like people believe that this is true, but will concurrently turn someone down or immediately judge them for being unattractive? Yes, maybe looks really do matter. And we agree that your appearance is the access to your own personal branding. It is the first thing someone sees, and right or wrong, it is one of the first things we judge and are being judged upon.    The 21st century are remarkable in terms of how the beauty standards have become more demanding and strict. And we believe that right now, the most attractive people are always the one who benefits.   For example, in employment. Two people may have the same exact qualifications who’s applying for a job and they should be equa

But does their opinion really matter? C osmetic surgery is a procedure that an individual undergoes to in improving their self-esteem. Someone who is insecure about their face or body has a high chance of going through this surgery. Plastic surgery is your own choice, and in Gwen’s perspective, plastic surgery is okay because at the end of the day it's your body, your money, your life, and your decision. So, if you are so insecure about a part of your body, then what's the problem of undergoing a cosmetic surgery? On the other hand, we also have to be very careful because cosmetic surgery can be addictive and it can make someone look unrealistic. G rowing u

Admit it or not, in our world now—  we judge and being judged by our appearances . Physical attributes are what we get to see first, aren't we? It sounds hypocrite when people say that "Face does not matter, what matters is what the hearts says"— because people tend to judge through their naked eyes. We want to become more noticeable to the people around us.    Our desire to look better requires different procedures. It depends on which part you want to change or to enhance. Our culture as well, affects our standards of beauty.   In Asian countries, we start from transitioning our skin color from brown to white . By people’s wants and development, they started nose lifting. After anesthesia came to the world, plastic surgery became easier and introduced to the world.      Plastic surgery  is a surgical treatment that involves the restoration and reconstruction of the human body. Cosmetic procedures alter a part of the body that the person is  not satisfied with. Common cosmetic procedures include making the breasts larger  (augmentation mammoplasty) or smaller (reduction mammoplasty), reshaping the nose (rhinoplasty),  and removing pockets of fat from specific spots on the body (liposuction). Cosmetic Surgery

By: Marcus Tan and Lucelle Jane Rico Our opinion about cosmetic surgery is that we don't care if somebody have plastic surgery. Nowadays, both women and men are getting plastic surgery for correction and restoration of form and function of body parts that they do not like. We think that people need to use natural procedures to look better and to try to have a healthy lifestyle. We don't judge anyone who is getting cosmetic surgery. But sometimes happens, because the woman are judged by people. The idea of it doesn't bother us. Cosmetic surgery can be a best thing for sometime who wants to restructure or repair their features or any part than cosmetic surgery will help them.
