So hey! Jhianne here. On September 27th we went to Camp N and Echanted Kingdom for our educational fieldtrip. I'll start with my experience on the bus.

So, it was 6 in the morning, we were all hyped, I think the grade 7 students were pissed because we were hella noisy. Anyway, Sir Mark told us to shut up 'cause no one wants to disturbed at 6 in the morning. when it was like 8, I think? we played a game called "dugtungan" yeah that singing game, so the consequence is..... I don' t really get the punishment because if our team win we still have to watch our science project.. so our team lost and fortunately we were close to our first bus stop when we got back to our bus they were watching the other group's video. We had fun laughing at the videos.

Our first destination is Camp N, Nuvali. We went to this garden Then we tried to balance the board? I dont know. Then next we did that thing where you hold hands then stand on that string thingy. After that we climed on a net? I dont know what that's called. Then we did the free fall (I didn't because I'm a chicken) and the zipline then we went back to the bus and since we didn't have much time, we went straight to enchanted kingdom.

In Enchanted Kingdom, at first, I was very pissed because it was hot but it's okay because we had fun. First we took a photo before going separate ways then we went to anchors away. Sir D was very scared while holding Taewon and he was like "It's not even that scary" with a straight face and then disc o' magic then we went to see rialto next we went to space shuttle and sir Roi kept scaring us, it didn't work Hahahaha and lastly we went to extreme tower.
I wasn't really happy because I didn't see anything because we had to take our glasses off, so all I see is darkness and blurry lights. That's it. We went home and I just slept through everything. Over all, I had fun and I was very exhausted but, it is all worth it!

You Are Beautiful

"You are beautiful." H ave you ever felt insecure about the way you look? Have you ever felt the need to change a part of your body? These are some of the reasons why people want to get cosmetic surgery. But what is cosmetic surgery? Cosmetic Surgery is a kind of surgery that involves transforming, reordering or refining a part of your body to improve one's appearance. It was believed that Cosmetic Surgery began to develop after World War 1 due to war injuries. Cosmetic surgery was mostly performed to fix a broken nose or patch up burned skins. But as time goes by, people started to think of this as a way to change their appearances. People started wanting to get cosmetic surgery. We have created a poll on Twitter, asking people their thoughts about cosmetic surgery. In less than 24 hours, we got the results. The majority vote was the affirmation side where 93% said they agree on cosmetic surgery.   Their answers all have the same point: is that they agree b...

"COSMETIC SURGERY?, it's a yes"

Admit it or not, in our world now—  we judge and being judged by our appearances . Physical attributes are what we get to see first, aren't we? It sounds hypocrite when people say that "Face does not matter, what matters is what the hearts says"— because people tend to judge through their naked eyes. We want to become more noticeable to the people around us.    Our desire to look better requires different procedures. It depends on which part you want to change or to enhance. Our culture as well, affects our standards of beauty.   In Asian countries, we start from transitioning our skin color from brown to white . By people’s wants and development, they started nose lifting. After anesthesia came to the world, plastic surgery became easier and introduced to the world.      Plastic surgery  is a surgical treatment that involves the restoration and reconstruction of the human body. It is  divided into t...

Cosmetic Surgery: Good or Bad? Blog by: Keesha Laurice Baan and Delchien John Delinea

W e’ve all probably heard this our whole lives; looks do not matter, true beauty comes from within. But how true is this concept? Why does it always seem like people believe that this is true, but will concurrently turn someone down or immediately judge them for being unattractive? Yes, maybe looks really do matter. And we agree that your appearance is the access to your own personal branding. It is the first thing someone sees, and right or wrong, it is one of the first things we judge and are being judged upon.    The 21st century are remarkable in terms of how the beauty standards have become more demanding and strict. And we believe that right now, the most attractive people are always the one who benefits.   For example, in employment. Studies have shown that attractive people are being preferred to work in an office in comparison to their unattractive counterparts. Two people may have the same exact qualifications who’s applying for a job and ...
