Grade 10

It was 5:10 am on September 26, 2019, when I went to school with my cousins.
As you probably already know from the title, yes it's our Fieldtrip! A trip that most of us always looks forward to. Entering the school, it was a bit strange since it is still dark. But we students, waited at the gym with excited faces. After a few minutes, the teachers guided and arranged us into our assigned buses. Guess who's my seat mate? Maan!! Thank god the people around me are my best friends. At around 5:45 am, we left the school expecting to make unforgettable memories.

A few minutes into the ride, the
tour guide introduced himself as "Kuya Carlo". I already predicted him to be one who's funny and he actually is!

First place, stop over! Me and my friends went to the restroom and bought mcdo for breakfast. We waited for the others to go back, and 30 mins after, we are ready to go again!

The ride to Paete was so long that we came there at 11 o'clock! Nonetheless we were welcomed by a church that has a gorgeous view at the back. We went straight to the restroom and missed alot of information about the church, what a pity right? Despite of that, we did still enjoy the visual of the church inside. Here's the pictures!

Outside the church, we watched two guys carved animals on a fruit and ice! It was very impressive, I wish I can do that. After the spectacular show, we went to the shops all around the area. We were able to buy foods and souvenirs from Paete!

On to the next! Due to traffic, we didn't have much time to eat at the Uplb Botanical Garden. So instead, they toured us around there while we are inside the bus. Still, we are thankful for seeing Uplb.

The ride to our last destination was realllyyy long. Like my butt's aching so bad! We all got bored that's why we had some games and prizes. It was a really fun moment with my classmates.
Last Destination, Lakbay Museo! The Conrad Hotel that it was in was gorgeous! Looks like a mall that only rich people can go inside. Anyways, my first impression on Lakbay Museo? Colorful! Seeing the beauty of the entrance, I can't help but have high expectations for this museum. Going inside, I was entranced by the sight I was welcomed with. Its like the whole Philippines in one place.

For the first place, it showed us the stores in the Philippines.

Next place, we had the church and a carabao. For me, they portraited it very well.

Proposal!! jk :)

A grand performance was waiting for us at the next place, they danced to filipino songs, danced like our native filipinos, and even let us danced with them too! I know that everyone who watched enjoyed the performance as well. Hope I can watch performances like that again!

They also have the different types of palabok, clothes of our native filipinos, the underwater like fishes, corals, shells, etc. found in the Philippines.

Sadly, we entered a room full of souvenirs inside. That means we're at the end of the museum.

It was short but it was definitely more than worth it! I believe that me and my classmates have appreciated the things that we saw in the museum that day.
Of  course, after the fieldtrip we went to jollibee and ordered some takeout. Eventually, we're back at home by 9:40 pm.

I want to thank the people behind our Fieldtrip for giving us the opportunity to see something amazing like this.

That's our Fieldtrip 2019, Thank you!

You Are Beautiful

"You are beautiful." H ave you ever felt insecure about the way you look? Have you ever felt the need to change a part of your body? These are some of the reasons why people want to get cosmetic surgery. But what is cosmetic surgery? Cosmetic Surgery is a kind of surgery that involves transforming, reordering or refining a part of your body to improve one's appearance. It was believed that Cosmetic Surgery began to develop after World War 1 due to war injuries. Cosmetic surgery was mostly performed to fix a broken nose or patch up burned skins. But as time goes by, people started to think of this as a way to change their appearances. People started wanting to get cosmetic surgery. We have created a poll on Twitter, asking people their thoughts about cosmetic surgery. In less than 24 hours, we got the results. The majority vote was the affirmation side where 93% said they agree on cosmetic surgery.   Their answers all have the same point: is that they agree b...

"COSMETIC SURGERY?, it's a yes"

Admit it or not, in our world now—  we judge and being judged by our appearances . Physical attributes are what we get to see first, aren't we? It sounds hypocrite when people say that "Face does not matter, what matters is what the hearts says"— because people tend to judge through their naked eyes. We want to become more noticeable to the people around us.    Our desire to look better requires different procedures. It depends on which part you want to change or to enhance. Our culture as well, affects our standards of beauty.   In Asian countries, we start from transitioning our skin color from brown to white . By people’s wants and development, they started nose lifting. After anesthesia came to the world, plastic surgery became easier and introduced to the world.      Plastic surgery  is a surgical treatment that involves the restoration and reconstruction of the human body. It is  divided into t...

𝓬𝓸𝓼𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓬 𝓼𝓾𝓻𝓰𝓮𝓻𝔂 I n the Philippines even though lots of people in social media say that cosmetic surgery should not be a big deal, the toxic culture here still judge people on what they do, there are things that people want to do but because of other’s opinion they’re scared to do it. But does their opinion really matter? C osmetic surgery is a procedure that an individual undergoes to in improving their self-esteem. Someone who is insecure about their face or body has a high chance of going through this surgery. Plastic surgery is your own choice, and in Gwen’s perspective, plastic surgery is okay because at the end of the day it's your body, your money, your life, and your decision. So, if you are so insecure about a part of your body, then what's the problem of undergoing a cosmetic surgery? On the other hand, we also have to be very careful because cosmetic surgery can be addictive and it can make someone look unrealistic. G rowing u...
